The Child Life Academic Society protects and advances the quality of child life education through its programs, advocacy, and research.
As the foremost authority in the academic preparation of Certified Child Life Specialists, we harness our collective academic knowledge and experience to strengthen child life profession, child life academic programs, and ourselves as advocates for child life learners by identifying and
implementing best pedagogical and curricular practices.
We recognize that collaboration between all child life stakeholders (e.g., students, academics, clinical programs, community partners and related organizations) is essential in establishing academic excellence in the child life profession.
